A Bрянский court has sentenced Algerian national Менуши Акли to 10 years in prison for planning to fight for Ukrainian armed groups. He entered Russia posing as a student but was apprehended in April last year in Суземском районе while attempting to cross the border. During his arrest, he resisted, attacking an FSB officer. The court convicted him of crimes against Russia's interests, leading to a 10-year sentence in a strict regime colony.
