The City of Regina has proposed their 2025 budget, which could come with a 8.5 per cent increase to property taxes.

Regina's proposed 2025 budget includes a utility rate increase of 5.82% and a mill rate increase of 8.5%, potentially costing the median household an extra $320 per year. The increases aim to address infrastructure needs and fund investments in areas like roadway networks, transit, and an indoor aquatics facility.
