Over a thousand people gathered in Orléans to support Rabbi Arié Engelberg, who was violently assaulted in the street in front of his son by a 16-year-old. The aggressor, who made antisemitic remarks, will be tried in late April. The incident drew condemnation from President Macron and led to rallies in both Orléans and Paris to protest antisemitism.
