Abandoned Six Nations stadium with huge capacity could be set to come back to life

An abandoned stadium capable of hosting 30,000 people was once a regular in the Six Nations rotation – and it looks like it could be set for a new life in a major competition

The Stadio Flaminio, a former Six Nations venue in Rome that hosted 30,000 spectators, may be revived as the home stadium for Serie A team Lazio. Lazio President Claudio Lotito aims to increase the capacity to 50,000. The stadium was previously used by Italy's national rugby team for 11 years but is now dilapidated.
