Accused in fatal Lake Ontario boat crash denies driving when disaster struck

The 41-year-old Mississauga man is charged with eight alleged offences, including two counts of impaired operation and criminal negligence causing death.

Filip Grkovski, accused in a fatal Lake Ontario boat crash that killed two passengers, testified he was not driving when the boat crashed into rocks. He claims he let a friend, Denkha, take the helm near the marina after a day of drinking and denied the presence of cocaine on board. Denkha previously testified that Grkovski was driving and refused to relinquish control.
