Pension Age Disability Payment is designed to support pensioners who require significant care and assistance



Disabled pensioners in Scotland are urged to apply for the Pension Age Disability Payment (PADP), a non-means-tested benefit replacing Attendance Allowance and designed for those needing significant care and support due to disability or long-term health conditions. The benefit is available across Scotland from April 22. Existing Attendance Allowance recipients will have their payments automatically transferred. Applications can be made online or by calling 0800 182 2222.
