Additional Support Needs expansion plans for South Ayrshire approved by council

South Ayrshire Council has approved plans to expand Additional Support Needs (ASN) provision at Troon Primary School, converting two classrooms into a dedicated ASN learning space. The proposal, supported by public consultation, aims to reduce lengthy travel for ASN pupils and alleviate pressure on existing services. The expansion will provide ASN support for pupils in Troon and surrounding areas, addressing the current lack of ASN bases north of Ayr.
