A toddler at Young Mindz Learning Academy in Georgia suffered second-degree burns after a daycare employee was caught on surveillance video tossing him into scalding water. The employee also spanked the child. The mother is suing the daycare, which violated multiple policies, including those regarding diaper changes and age separation. The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning fined the facility $499 for abuse and endangering the child.
