After Toronto plane crash, Delta says 19 out of 21 passengers released from hospitals
A Delta Air Lines-operated CRJ900 aircraft crashed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, with 19 of 21 hospitalized passengers released. The two remaining passengers are not facing life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Canada’s Transportation Safety Board, with high winds and blowing snow reported at the time of the incident. The wreckage remains on the airport grounds, delaying runway operations. The flight, operated by Delta's subsidiary Endeavor Air, had been en route from Minneapolis-St. Paul.
