Amazon has canceled the Australian soap opera "Neighbours," two years after reviving it. Fremantle Media, the production company, failed to renew the deal with Amazon, leading to the show's end. The final episode will air in December 2025. The series, which began in 1985, was revived in 2021 after Channel 10 initially canceled it. Fremantle Media expressed gratitude to Amazon and fans, noting the show's success, including a Daytime Emmy nomination. Channel 10 also expressed sadness over the show's conclusion.
