News of the appointments had been leaked to the media earlier in the week
Andy Farrell, British and Irish Lions coach, appointed Ireland coaches Simon Easterby, Andrew Goodman, and John Fogarty as assistants for the Australia tour, along with Richard Wigglesworth and John Dalziel. The Lions will play Argentina in Dublin on June 20th and Australia on July 19th, 26th, and August 2nd. Farrell will announce the playing squad on May 8th.
