An Antiques Roadshow expert admitted it was a “privilege” to be able to handle a historically significant book worth thousands.



An Antiques Roadshow guest was surprised to learn her photo album, discovered in a library, was valued at £20,000 to £30,000. The album contains photos from Captain Scott's 1901-1904 Antarctic expedition. Expert Marc Allum, while concerned about the album's binding and potential annotations, called it a privilege to handle such a historically significant item.
