Arizona prisoner Aaron Brian Gunches, convicted of the 2002 murder of Ted Price, has declined to seek a reprieve and is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on March 19. This would be Arizona's first execution in over two years, following a hiatus due to criticism of previous execution methods and difficulty obtaining drugs. Arizona is also considering changing its execution method to include a firing squad.
