The Romanian Chamber of Deputies has adopted a law enabling the military to shoot down unauthorized drones entering the country's airspace. The measure, supported by 196 deputies, was opposed by AUR, SOS, and POT parties. Additionally, a law allowing military operations on Romanian soil during peacetime was approved with 201 votes in favor. Both laws now proceed to the Senate for final voting and require presidential promulgation.
