Gunners without a host of key players as Premier League title run-in begins in earnest
Arsenal FC have several key players currently sidelined with injuries:
- Takehiro Tomiyasu is recovering from knee surgery and has started rehabilitation. His return is expected towards the end of 2025.
- Bukayo Saka tore his hamstring in December and was initially set to return in March. Recent training updates suggest progress, but Arsenal are cautious about rushing his return.
- Gabriel Martinelli suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle on February 5. He is expected to miss upcoming games and could return in March.
- Havertz tore his hamstring during training in Dubai and has undergone surgery. He is targeting a return at the start of the 2025-26 season.
- Gabriel Jesus had surgery for a serious knee injury in January, with no definitive return date yet.
