Art lecturer who accused colleague of 'racism' when he refused to let her use printer loses claim against college for discrimination

Samiya Younis accused Aiden Daley of being 'incredibly rude', 'racist', and 'having an issue with women' after he told her that she couldn't use the IT equipment which was not accessible to all staff.

Art lecturer Samiya Younis lost her discrimination claim against United Colleges Group after accusing a colleague of racism for refusing her access to a printer in a restricted reprographics room. Her complaint against the colleague was dismissed as "inappropriate" and "unsubstantiated". Younis was later dismissed due to low class attendance and student/colleague complaints. The employment tribunal found no evidence of discrimination, stating Younis was angered by the refusal.
