At least 50 killed and more than 100 injured in nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia – Europe live

Blaze reportedly broke out in the early hours at Pulse club in town 60 miles from SkopjePrime Minister Hristijan Mickosk has expressed “deep sadness” about the “tragedy” of the nightclub fire, saying the loss of so many young lives is “irreparable” as he extended his condolences to the family and friends of those who were killed in the blaze.He wished those injured a speedy recovery and said the government is “fully mobilised” to help determine the cause of the fire. A fire at the Pulse nightclub in Kočani, North Macedonia, resulted in at least 59 deaths and over 150 injuries. Four arrest warrants have been issued, and one of the club owners is detained. The fire may have been caused by pyrotechnics. European leaders offered assistance and condolences.
