The Ministry announced that in the last quarter of 2024, the production per employee index in the industrial sector increased by 4% compared to the same period of the previous year. The calendar-adjusted total industrial production per employee index rose by 2.9% year-on-year. Seasonally and calendar-adjusted total industrial production per employee also increased by 4% compared to the previous quarter. The total industrial production per hour worked index rose by 6.1% annually and 3.2% quarterly. The energy sector saw the largest annual increase (7.4%) in the calendar-adjusted production per employee index, while capital goods production recorded the largest quarterly increase (9.9%) in the seasonally and calendar-adjusted index.
