Armed Forces charity ASA Scotland organised the commemoration which featured performances from Whitburn Brass Band, Sing West Lothian Choir and pupils from various primary schools.
Bathgate's Regal Theatre hosted an ASA Scotland-organized commemoration of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, featuring performances by Whitburn Brass Band, Sing West Lothian Choir, and local primary school pupils. The event honored Sgt Lumsden, a World War Two hero, and was attended by local dignitaries. Sponsors included Bathgate Community Council, Bathgate Town Centre Management Committee, and local businesses.
