A man scaled the Big Ben clock tower (Elizabeth Tower) on Saturday morning, holding a Palestine flag and barefoot. Negotiators have been unable to convince him to come down, and the incident is expected to continue overnight. Emergency services are on scene, and road closures are in effect. The man insists on coming down "on his own terms." An MP is calling for an explanation of how he accessed the parliamentary estate. This is not the first time someone has climbed the tower, with similar incidents occurring in 2019.
