Brit tourists warned as Spanish city extends major ban with £745 fines

Night-time pub crawls will soon be banned from one of Spain's most popular districts, following a mayoral decree. The strict rules follow risks posed 'by irresponsible alcohol consumption'

Barcelona has extended its ban on pub crawls, with fines of up to €900 (£745) for promoters and organizers. The city saw a 5% increase in tourism in 2024, attracting 11.7 million visitors.
