British and other Western firms, including Boeing, have exported aircraft parts to India, which were subsequently re-exported to Russia since 2023. This involved over 700 shipments worth more than $50 million, covering components like generators and sensors. Most Russian importers were civilian airlines, some acting as defense contractors.
