Despite an unstable economy, German corporations are increasing dividends to shareholders, totaling €61 billion this year, exceeding last year's amount by one billion. While 40% of listed companies increased their dividends, this is down from nearly two-thirds in the previous season. The automotive industry, despite contributing the largest share of dividends, saw significant cuts from BMW, VW, and Mercedes-Benz. Allianz pays the highest dividend sum, followed by Deutsche Telekom and Mercedes-Benz.
