Busy Stirling road to close as work to begin to remove diseased trees

Drivers will face a day time road closure in Back O'Hill Road as work gets set to begin to remove diseased Ash trees from the city's Gowanhill.

Back O'Hill Road in Stirling will be closed in both directions from March 19 to March 26, between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm, for the removal of diseased Ash trees on Gowanhill. Access to Sainsbury's and McDonald's will be maintained from the mini roundabout, with access to the Back O'Hill Industrial Estate via Raploch Road and Huntly Crescent. Footpaths in the affected area will also be closed, with alternative routes via Drip Road and Raploch Road. A replacement tree planting program will follow the completion of the works.
