Cyprus MPs propose exempting residents near the Dhekelia power station from pollution fees on electricity bills, arguing it's unfair to charge them for exposure to pollutants. Committee chair Kyriacos Hadjiyianni supports this, while Akel’s Costas Costa states the decision lies with the government, not the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC).
