Canada issues warning for major travel destination amid 'once in 300

According to a Nov. 24 update, parts of Thailand experienced heavy rainfall, resulting in severe flooding across southern provinces. Affected areas include Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat."Recent monsoon rains have resulted in transportation disruptions and damage to infrastructure," reads the update. "Rising water levels have cut access to major roads, including those to the Hat Yai airport."CNN reports that a "once in 300-year" storm slammed southern Thailand, resulting in flood waters rising over eight feet.
