Chaos at major UK airport as car explodes in tunnel with diversions in place

A car explosion in a tunnel at Heathrow Airport caused major delays, closing the M4 southbound between junctions 4 and 4a. Fire engines were deployed, and diversions were put in place. Passengers were advised to allow extra travel time and use public transport. The tunnel has since reopened.
