Bonnie Crombie has announced she is stepping down as leader of the Ontario Liberal Party after narrowly surviving a leadership review vote with 57 per cent support from the party delegates.Crombie, who was elected Ontario Liberal leader in Dec. 2023 after formerly serving as Mississauga Mayor, issued a statement on social media announcing her resignation on Sunday, stating that she intends to step down once a successor is chosen.Crombie's complete statement can be read below."This weekend, we had the largest AGM in the history of our party.
