Final cost of restoring hut, dating from 1892, is still unclear, says Sinn Féin TD
Cork City Council is under fire for spending over €361,000 to refurbish a historic fireman's rest, a project Sinn Féin TD Thomas Gould calls a "scandalous waste of public money". The 1892 structure, once used by firefighters and transport workers, was restored and relocated to Anglesea Street.
