Costco snack sold across Canada recalled over metal pieces that pose health risk

A popular treat sold at Costco is part of a Canada-wide recall, and shoppers are urged to double-check their cupboards and pantries before they bite in.According to a Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) bulletin, Golden Island brand Korean Barbeque Recipe Fire-grilled Pork Jerky have been recalled due to the presence of pieces of metal."Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product," said CIFA in the national recall last updated on Oct. 27.Golden Island is issuing a recall for the Korean Barbeque Recipe Fire-grilled Pork Jerky with the universal product code 0 17082 01049 0.The recalled product is 410 g in size.
