A recent survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) shows that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski's approval rating stands at 57%, up from 52% in December 2024, though slightly down from 59% in September 2024. The survey, conducted in early February, polled 1,000 people across Ukraine. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump recently claimed Zelenski's approval rating is only 4%, criticizing Ukraine's delay in holding elections and suggesting new elections should be held. Zelenski has previously stated elections are not feasible under martial law, citing displacement and occupied territories.
