Galway County Council received 120 public submissions regarding the Gort Local Area Plan, which outlines the town's development strategy for the next six years. The Forward Planning Team is reviewing the submissions, including suggestions for an Ecopark & Amenity Hub and input from community groups, ESB, Uisce Eireann, the Department of Education, and the EPA. The Chief Executive’s report is expected in early April and will be made public after circulation to councillors.
