Romania experienced its coldest week of winter with significant snowfall, particularly in southern and southeastern regions, including Bucharest, where snow reached half a meter. Despite these conditions, no traffic restrictions were reported by the INFOTRAFIC Center. Major roads and highways near the capital (A0, A1, A2, A3) had snow but no blockages, with de-icing operations conducted overnight.
