Disgraced staff at special educational needs school shamed after abuse of pupils

One staff member was caught putting a pupil in a headlock while another was found guilty of using an offensive term



A BBC Panorama investigation exposed abuse at Life Wirral, a special educational needs school, leading to police investigation and the school's closure. Staff members were recorded making offensive remarks and physically assaulting pupils. Elliot Millar was jailed for assault, and Daniel McNulty-Doyle was found guilty of using abusive language. Both staff members were unqualified and untrained, claiming a difficult work environment with minimal training.
