A disco fire in Kočani, North Macedonia at 2:35 AM resulted in at least 59 deaths and 155 injuries. Authorities suspect corruption and have issued four arrest warrants, one of whom has been arrested. The incident prompted a seven-day national mourning period. This follows a previous deadly hospital fire in 2021.
