Minnesota college student will be free to travel throughout Dominican Republic, but ability to return to U.S. remains in limbo
A Dominican court ruled that Joshua Riibe, a witness in the Sudiksha Konanki missing person case, was being unlawfully held at a hotel. Riibe, the last person to see Konanki, will now be free to travel within the Dominican Republic, but his passport is being held, preventing his return to the U.S. Konanki's parents have petitioned to have their daughter declared dead and accept the explanation that she drowned.
