Ahead of a planned phone call with Vladimir Putin about the future of Ukraine, Donald Trump tempered expectations, stating that while some parts of a final agreement are in place, much remains to be done to end the war. Putin has praised Trump's efforts but says his conditions for a 30-day ceasefire, including a guarantee that Ukraine will never join NATO, have not been met. The call is expected to be the second between the two leaders since Trump's presidential term began.
