Ben McGuigan appeared at Letterkenny Circuit Court in Co Donegal charged with one count of being in possession of property being the proceeds of criminal conduct
Dublin barman Ben McGuigan pleaded guilty to possessing €7,600 in stolen funds transferred from a Donegal fraud victim's account. McGuigan claimed his bank card was stolen, initially stating he lost it, then later reporting a mugging where he was forced to reveal his PIN. He claims he didn't profit and feared reporting the mugging.
