Veronica Kadie Sesay called for increased funding to advance women's political participation in West Africa, aiming for 30% female representation in ECOWAS and national parliaments. Limited funding hinders program implementation, so ECOFEPA is seeking partnerships, donations, and collaboration with stakeholders, including First Ladies. Sesay encouraged other ECOWAS states to adopt strategies like Sierra Leone's Proportional Representation system, which helped them achieve the 30% affirmative action target.
