Women in Mechanised Agriculture (WIMA) is urging the Nigerian government to support women's access to mechanised farming equipment through policy integration and initiatives. WIMA's model, akin to a ride-hailing service for machinery, allows women to lease equipment at zero upfront cost, connecting urban women with rural farmers. WIMA emphasizes that policy support and investment are crucial for scaling the initiative and transforming mechanised farming for women in Nigeria.
