The Edmonton Mountain Bike Alliance received provincial funding from Alberta's Budget 2025 to build Edmonton's first dedicated mountain bike park in Queen Elizabeth Park. The project, in the works since 2018, will be funded by the province, the City of Edmonton, and donations. The park will feature dirt jumps, skills structures, and wooden drops, and will be accessible to all bikers. The province is investing $85 million in non-profit projects through community grant programs.
