Education Minister announces plans for National Standardised Test in basic schools

Ghana's Education Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, has announced plans to introduce a National Standardised Test (NST) for students in basic schools. The test, targeting students in Class 2, Class 4, Class 6, and JSS 2, aims to prepare them psychologically for national assessments like the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The NST is expected to enhance learning outcomes by identifying students' strengths and weaknesses early in their education.
