Vice President Shettima urged the NCN and stakeholders to move from discussion to action in combating Nigerian malnutrition via a multisectoral approach. He emphasized the need for government-led funding and data-driven strategies, highlighting initiatives like the Nutrition 774 program. The NCN meeting focused on scaling up food and nutrition efforts, including timelines for the N774 Initiative implementation by July 2025, and discussed the National Multisectoral Plan of Action on Food and Nutrition, Nutrition for Growth (N4G) project, and the Presidential Nutrition Investment Fund.
