TTC and Metrolinx blasted for service after Game 7 of World Series
Thousands of Blue Jays fans were left stranded in downtown Toronto on Saturday night after Game 7 of the World Series went into extra innings, just as the city's transit system was preparing to shut down for the night. The Blue Jays' heartwrenching 5-4 loss to the L.A. Dodgers wrapped up shortly after midnight, leaving more than 40,000 devastated fans at the sold-out Rogers Centre, plus countless others watching at local bars and viewing parties, scrambling to get home.
