In the next month, the E.U. will put in place a total of 26 billion euros worth of tariffs
The EU will impose retaliatory tariffs on US goods in two phases, totaling 26 billion euros, in response to US tariffs on steel and aluminum. The first wave affects 8 billion euros worth of goods starting April 1, with a second wave targeting 18 billion euros worth of goods from April 13. Targeted goods may include whiskey, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, chewing gum, washing machines, refrigerators, and mowers.
