Eurovision song faces calls to be banned over 'offensive' and 'Mafia' lyrics

Estonian rapper Tommy Cash's Eurovision song "Espresso Macchiato" has sparked controversy over its lyrics, which include stereotypes about Italy, such as references to the Mafia, spaghetti, and luxury. Some Italians, including far-right politician Gian Marco Centinaio and consumer rights group Codacons, have called for the song to be banned, while others find it humorous. The song will be performed at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland, in May.
