A former police officer, Marek Á., is accused of killing a detained man in a supermarket in Košice. The man died after being beaten by Marek, as recorded by security cameras. Marek's request for release was denied by the court, which kept him in custody. Another officer, Oliver I., admitted to hitting the man once but was only charged with misuse of authority and remains free.
