'Express' bus service from Greater Manchester town directly into Manchester city centre is on the cards

The campaign was started following complaints locally regarding the bus service

A proposed 'Express' bus service from Greater Manchester towns to Manchester city centre aims to address local complaints about the current service. The reimagined 167 bus route would start in Norden, stopping at Bamford, Heywood, and Rhodes before reaching the city centre. MP Elsie Blundell launched a campaign for improved services after locals called for faster options. She met with Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham and submitted a proposal to Transport for Greater Manchester. The initiative seeks to enhance connectivity, reduce traffic, and provide better access to jobs and opportunities for residents.
