Father of Southport victim to run London Marathon to fund new school play area

A father whose daughter was among the victims of the Southport attack will run the London Marathon to help fund a new playground in her memory. The playground, to be built at Churchtown Primary School, will honor Alice da Silva Aguiar and Bebe King, both killed in the attack. The school aims to raise £250,000 to transform the current concrete area into a multi-functional play space, including climbing frames, an indoor/outdoor library, and a performance area. Alice’s father, Sergio, and school headteacher Jinnie Payne will participate in the marathon, with proceeds supporting the playground project.
