The Federal Government has launched the Digital Bridge Institute's (DBI) global certification licensing program to enhance digital literacy in Nigeria, aiming to increase digital literacy from zero in 2023 to 70% by 2027. This initiative addresses the significant digital skills gap, where only 7% of Nigerian youths aged 15-24 possess marketable ICT skills. The program will license DBI's training programs to institutions and trainers, democratizing access to ICT training and certifications. This effort aims to empower Nigerian youth, reduce unemployment, and position the country as a key player in the global ICT ecosystem.
